This expels harmful bacteria from the lungs. The syrup should not be mixed with the antihistamines as this renders it powerless.

Causes of bronchitis should be well diagnosed. This will make its recurrence difficult. It will also ensure that the correct treatment is administered. If the symptoms last for more than a month, a doctor should be consulted again to rule out any other problems.
